I want to finance a 1999 or newer Ferrari 360 Modena but my co-signer lives out of state. can I still finance?

-I can afford a payment of $1000-$1500 a month. I want to spend less then $70,000. I have my grandfather as a co-signer. He has perfect credit and has financed and co-signed many things for me in the past. I now live in Portland Oregon and He now lives in Arizona. I want to have him co-sign for a loan on a 1999-2003 Ferrari 360 Modena. CAN HE STILL CO-SIGN ON A LOAN FOR ME? will I be able to get the loan approved and take care of all paper work. Will I be able to Just fax him the paper work needed for the loan? PLEASE HELP ME! im also interested in a 2004-2006 Bentley continental GT or a 1997-1999 Ferrari 355. If your a car dealer and can help me or make this deal happen feel free to email me with your info. Many lenders require cosigners to live at the same address as you.

Very, very few lenders in the country would loan the amount of money you are talking about for such an old car.

In other words, its probably not going to happen...even if you lived with gramps.

BMW 2011 vs ford mustang 2012?

-They're both the newest model in the market. I price wasnt a factor, which would you choose?BMW

So my mom won't let me get a convertible....?

-What cars are good for 16 year old girls that are hardtop, have a sporty look, and are under $10,000 used?

Thank you!! <3Dangerrr :),

I would suggest a Camaro. The Camaro is sporty, fun and reliable. You should be able to find one that you like within your price range. I encourage you to take look at your local GM dealership to see if they have a Camaro you like in stock.

What is a good first car for a 16 year old girl?

-my parents are letting me pick out a car, i would like a bmw m, but maybe something little less expensive. my parents can afford a nice car for me and my limit is $55,000. no, i am not spoiled or have i ever, this is the only thing there buying me for a while. thannkyaa!Yeah, surreee.... BMW for a 16y/o? Chances are, you'll get into an accident with your first car. Even if you can afford a nice one, an old beater is the best option. You'll get into fender-benders and minor accidents and after a year or so, it'll look like sh*t. If I were you, I would get a cheap beater that you don't care about and redeem your $55,000 once you actually have a few years experience behind the wheel.i would say a prius or a ford focus. teens usually have college to save for, so a fuel efficient car would be great
A escort, or any other four cylinder car, you wanna go for MPG these days.
get an Audi a4 it's freshh or a BMW m3 if you want just don't speed only occasionally
my sister just got her license and she got a honda civic.

i love the car.

its pretty cool. think you should get it. !!!! hahah
I would say a Honda Civic or a Toyota Camry.
Hmmm well it has to be something you won't wreck easy, get a Hummer H2

Should i get the audi or the pontiac?

-I have a choice between a red 2002 Audi TT convertible with 118k miles and a red 2002 SLP "firehawk" firebird (the Shelby mustang of Trans ams) with 113k miles. Both are the same price. Im a 16 year old male, I like both cars but what do you think is cooler?

Keep in mind the gas and insurance for the firehawk, but It has a v8. But the Audi is leather and gets 30 mpgs, with less aggressive stylingIf the TT has quattro and a manual go with that. Otherwise, go with the Firebird. The all wheel drive is amazing in weather and running tight corners. I have an 2007 A4 2.0T S-Line Quattro modded with an ECU unit and love it, but the 2002 TT's have a smaller engine and not nearly as cool as the newer ones or the TTS. The Firebird is pure cool American muscle. That never goes out of style!

Which one of these cars would you pick? car people only please?

-from recent questions, i only had a few cars. well, i got a promotion, broadened my price range, and here is the giant *** list of cars i can afford. i want the sexiest, fastest, most reliable, most fuel efficient car from this list.

1995 Chevrolet Camaro

1998 Chevrolet Corvette

2003 Ford Mustang GT

2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse

2000 Chevrolet Camaro

1997 Toyota Supra

1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT

2005 Ford Mustang GT

1999 Nissan Skyline

1999 Acura NSX

1998 Pontiac Trans-Am WS6

2005 Chevrolet corvette

2002 Mazda RX-7

2004 Mazda RX8

2004 Honda S2000

2005 Ford GT

2004 Mazda RX-8

and im really pushin with these newer cars, but i think i can afford these ones.

2009 chevy cobalt

2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse

2008 Saturn Sky

2009 Pontiac Solstice

2010 chevy cruze

yeah, i know-HUGE list. but i got a promotion so i hand picked these cars. all of them fit my price range, all of them i can afford insure, all of them i like the styling, its just that the newer ones would be a little harder on my wallet than the other ones. so im just asking you guys, really. which one would you choose?Depends on the condition.

I would probably take the S2000 if it's cherry and it's a second car because I believe they will eventually increase in value.

The 97 Supra would be my second choice if it's the twin turbo, and again, cherry.

You can't afford the 2005 Ford GT, That was a $130K vehicle new and good luck paying for maintenance and insurance.

Many of these vehicles are very impractical 2 seaters.
I would pick the 2003 Ford Mustang GT or the 2005 Chevrolet corvette because 1 its basically the car that a lot of people want but cant buy because they don't have enough money and I would buy it so you don't have to save it again if you change your mind but its your dision want ever you want pick you just need help with the picking so I think you should pick your own self or you pick one of ours
if the milage isnt 110k plus on the 98 corvette, get it. you will drop jaws when you drive that. women will flock to you and men will want to be you. its a very sweet looking car and definitely will always be cool!
Nissan skyline, or Honda s2000 I would personally go for the skyline outta all of them, they are really well built and you can mod them alot
2004 Honda S2000
I'd say skyline but I don't get why the ford gt is in the mix with all those. even for an 05 that's still like $150,000
OK Here Goes -

Girly Cars - Cobalt, Eclipse, Sky, Solstice, Cruze.

Not practical as an only car - Corvette, camaro, mustang, trans-am (especially if you have to drive in winters)

The rest - I like the RX-8s, the S2000, NSX, Supra, Skyline, RX7 in that order I think. These are also the bst choices for mods (especailly the S2000, Supra, and Skyline)

If you live in Sunny Weather I would take the 2005 Corvette, then the Mustang GTs, then the Camaro (only if they are SS) and the Trans am over all the foreign cars. I love American muscle but your gas mileage will suck.

Can you back out of a car purchase in Illinois?

-I have a signed buyers order worksheet. The dealer has a deposit. They are bringing in the car from another dealer. Can I back out of the agreement and get my deposit back.In Illinois, If you haven't taken delivery, you can still, technically back out. Although they will try to make you feel like you do not have the option of backing out because they want to sell you the vehicle.

The dealer will likely not give you your deposit back because they can justify it as a cost of doing business.

They now have another car they have to sell because of your actions and they are going to be pretty pissed about it. Don't expect them to treat you nicely or professionally. To them, you are the worst kind of buyer.
As long as you have not signed the contract for the vehicle then yes you can back out of the deal that you made with the dealership. They will try to not give you that money back I know I use to sell cars. Once they have that deposit they will do anything that they can to sell it to you. What they might do is take more money off the vehicle's price so that you can still take the vehicle. With most of them they will not want to give it back at all and say that you signed a deal with them but all you have to say is that you didn't sign the paperwork and you want your money back.
Most likely you would lose your deposit. Indecision can be expensive.
Yes & no.

You would lose your deposit.

Ford Taurus lifespan?

-I asked a question about the 2004 Chevy Aveo. I got mostly good/informative feedback so I decided to call the dealership and unfortunately the car has been sold.

I see a lot of Ford Tauruses for sale and wonder well they keep. I took my driving lessons/test in a Ford Taurus and I really liked the space and how it handled.

PLEASE, only people who have experience/history with this car. If you feel so inclined to leave a generic comment about a foreign car, save it.I've recently purchased a Ford Taurus and it now has 260k miles on it and running strong. I'd say it'll make it to 300k easy. They're decent cars and good for your buck. You just have to, like every car keep up with the maintenance, oil changes, spark plugs, air filters, etc. and there will occasionally be little things that go wrong like in every car whether it be the alternator going bad or the battery needing replaced. But that's easy stuff that if you find a man who has a little mechanical experience can save you hundreds of dollars changing them. Like me :). Depending on what year it is, look it up and the mileage on KBB.com and that'll tell you whether it's overpriced or you can talk the dealers down. They usually will go down at least 500 from what they say if it's a used car lot.Generally an ok vehicle for the money.

Insurance is on the lower end, good space, cheap to fix/maintain. Good basic transportation.

Performance, reliability and economy are middle of the pack for it's class, but it doesn't sound like these are your top priorities.

I would recommend it way more over an Aveo.

Like any used vehicle, get it inspected. Any car is only as good as it has been maintained...especially true if it is over 5 years old.
CAN I JUST START BY SAYING; (KAY) YOUR CAR WOULD ONLY BREAK DOWN FROM LACK OF MAINTENANCE..

120K MILES IS NOTHING ON A CAR OF THAT SIZE.

SERVICE ANNUALLY AND KEEP DRIVING
It's a pretty decent car. I had a Taurus for five years. I got to about 120k before it started to break down on me. Not a bad car.
They tend to have transmission problems sooner than they should.

ONTARIO: I'm a new driver and I'm purchasing a 1993 Trans Am. How much would the insurance cost?

-I'm buying a 1993 Trans Am, and before I actually get it, I just wanna get an idea on how much the insurance would be. I'm 17, recently got my G2 and the car I'm driving atm is manual, but this car I'm getting in automatic. (dunno if that will make a difference in insurance, so I'm just stating it out)

Which of these 3 cars would be the best deal?

-One of them doesn't have the miles listed I think, but....

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/2490910689.html

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/2480326201.html

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/2490982794.html2001. got the same car parked in my yard. love itAll 3 are overpriced by $2000 and look like they've been raced.

What is the best claissic car that is not a impala?

-Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Charger, 'Cuda, Road runner.

corvette, Bel Air.....the list is endless...just depends on what you like.Nissan Failady S30Z, Datsun 240z 1970-1978 (260z,280z)

You can find a load of them on Craigslist/ ebay .

2400 pounds, 2.4L straight six engine, RWD,

I only make about $900 a month I am 21 and I have no bills. what are my chances of getting a auto loan?

-no credit also. the car I want is $13,000. Also I only want to make a down payment of 2,000You'll get people telling you it's "impossible," but it's not. Because of your age, the amount of income you make and the down payment you're looking to put on the car, I'd say you have a decent chance. The no-credit might be an issue; if that's the case, you might need a parent or friend to co-sign for you.

Other than that, I don't see why you would be denied.
Im in the same boat, same age too. Only thing is it would be smart just to buy a used car with the money you actually have. The car you mentioned is 13,000 dollars of debt, not just money u need lended to you. Meaning on top of trying to pay off that car, you have insurance, gas, oil, and maintenance to stress over. Not to mention all those times u go out to eat or to the movies are over. Lol owning a car in general is expensive. Just be careful.
Impossible without a cosigner with very good credit.

A buy here pay here place would finance you with $2000 down but on a much cheaper car. Maybe a $3000 car that you would pay $6995+ interest for.

They are really bad deals.

Best bet...buy a $2000 car or save up til you have more.

No legit lenders will lend to anyone who earns less than $1500 per month.
2000 is not a bad down payment . Most lenders don't want your payment to exceed 20% of your income which means $180 dollars for your income. You'll be able to get a loan just maybe not as much as you are hoping for.
http://loan-seeker.info/bad-credit-loans/ has a list of reputable loan providers, even if you do not have the best credit.
LMAO.... 1-5% chance of approval.

If you put down $7000, you'll get it.

Buying car and having it shipped, how do I pay the seller?!?

-I live in Texas and am planning on purchasing a car from Alabama. I am going to have it shipped by an auto shipping company. How will we make the money exchange if we don't meet face to face? I want to do this as safely as possible so I don't get scammed. If you've have not seen this car in person, there's a good possibility that you've already been scammed. You should NEVER buy a vehicle that you have not personally touched, inspected and driven. Its a really bad idea to buy a car you haven't seen & driven. Even if it isn't a scam.

Rethink what you are doing. If you still want the car, hop on a plane & come get it.

Pay for it in person & drive it away.
It is very risky to buy without doing it in person. It may not look like what you think. Kind of like the dating sights with pics of people that are from 30 years ago but trying to pass it off as current. there are more problems than that.
Based on the info you have given us it sounds like you are already being scammed. Did you email someone about a very low priced vehicle from a classifieds website?

2005 Century topper value?

-What is the value of a 2005 Ultra Century topper in used condition? I would say a 6.5 on a 10 scale on condition. It will fit the 6.5ft bed on a Ford f150.

How to convince my dad to cosign on a car?

-my family is in a huge financial crisis, and we barely have enough money to pay the bills. i just got a job as a car salesman. i just got my first check, and i can see it going somewhere, but my parents have to take me to work every day and its embarrasing. i have no car. i want to finance a car i think im capable, but i cant get financed since ive only been at my job for like a month. He yells at me and tells me he wont do it till i get a couple of paychecks to see where its going to go... but i cant wait any longer... i havent had my own vehicle in three years. im 21. what should i do?You should tough it out a little longer. Instead of writing a check to the bank for the loan, write a check every month to your family. Add in the amount you would spend on gas and insurance. In a few months,l they'll be in less of a crisis, and you'll be able to get your loan.

This is the stand-up thing to do.
my family is in a huge financial crisis, and we barely have enough money to pay the bills.

----

A high debt to income ratio doesn't get a loan.

You may as well relax, since nobody is cosigning here.
You can still get a car, but you might have to go to a "Honest AL's" sorta car dealer. Not all of them are shady but they all want to sell their cars.

You sell cars can you talk with your sales manger to work you out a deal?
You best listen to Dad. I was in the Auto business for many, many years and only a few that tried sales made it. Why be embarrased, sure beats walking.

I would like to buy a phone costing around 10000_13000?

Lemon car? 2002 Honda Accord EX coupe $4,500 with 135k miles?

-The miles for the year seem okay, just wondering about the price. On KBB i says its value is at $6,135 in good condition, id appreciate your opinion and advice thank you.1. Miles have absolutely nothing to do with the condition of the car, so how would they "seem okay"?

2. The Lemon law, and the term "lemon car" by association, ONLY apply to new cars, that meet a certain repair criteria. NO USED CAR IS A LEMON. It's only a used car.

I suggest that you take a look into the all new 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. The Camaro Convertible has two trim levels that offer the V8 engine. There is the 1SS and the 2SS. The 2SS is fully loaded with leather and all of the goodies. The 1SS has cloth seats and not so may goodies. I encourage you take one for a test drive. I am sure your wife will like it.

Thank you,

you should get her a very nice reliable 1972 or 74 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. They are very beautiful cars, very safe in my opinion, and get 12 mpg in the city and 16 on the highway(there are things out there to increase gas mileage and such). 1974 did have an option of airbags.
there is nothing better than a 2011 mustang convertible but if you want to waste money you can buy

for 25000 more than a mustang usually a

bmw 3 series convertible

mercedes e class convertible

How many miles should I get out of a Trail Blazer before major damage?

-I'm getting ready to get my first car/suv and I came across a 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer. It's a steal at the price but it has around 150k miles on it. I'm wondering how many miles you think I'll be able to get out of it before something major goes on it.

Which is the best car to buy in the range of 10-15 lac.?

-Honda Civic 1.8 V AT Sunroof is the awesome car to buy in the range of 10 - 15 lac. Honda Civic has all the commendable features, the looks to die for, the performance to kill and more importantly the feeling of being gentle.

If you wanna make it cheap then a Civic.

Skoda does the job but i wouldn't go for such a brand after spending so much.
You have many choices:

Chevrolet Cruze (Really sexy looks)

Skoda Laura

Renault Fluence

Corolla Altis

Suzuki Kizashi

Chevrolet Optra Magnum LT

Honda Civic
You have some good picks ranging from Fluidic Verna, Innova, Scorpio, VW Jetta, Honda Civic and Renault Fluence
I think SkodaOctavia will be a nice choice.
hundai verna is best in milage and value of money too

What's the oldest version of a Scion TC?

-Bonus Question: Do you know how much they would cost?

Thank you! :)http://www.cars.com/scion/tc/2005/

u could scroll down and look at a few used

Its a good deal to " lease" takeover this car?

-$375/ mo. for 23 months its 2011 camry , 10,000 miles.Given that a 36 month lease on a brand new Camry would be $380 a month, this is not a good deal.onestly i would never lease a car because you pay all that money than you are left with nothin were if you buy a car you can still pay monthly and you get to keep the car so that is bad deal i would say
That's crazy.

Look at all the leases I found for under $300.

http://www.swapalease.com/lease/Toyota/C鈥?/a>
Buy something! Leasing only works for a select few.
Better to buy a car , it would be cheaper .

Range rover 2000 reviews?

-Beautiful vehicles. Most reviews are done early in ownership and not very accurate! It's been my experience and I've bought 100's that if you don't plan to resell don't buy it!!

They are electrical nightmares that will spend more time in the shop then out and cost more money than the space shuttle to get running again.

Some people have more money than they know what to do with and don't care! If thats you, awesome but I'd say buy newer or not at all! The prestige is tempting but you won't have it to show it off, the mechanic will! Hope this helps!

BTW... these units are 4x the reconditioning costs for me compared to the average vehicle of the same year and mileage

Im thinking of buying a nissan sentra is it a good car?

-i need a reliable car and good mpg.. so im thinking of getting the 2012 sentra.. does anyone drive this car?? if so is it a good car.. the dealership has 0 down 0 apr for 60 moths and my payment will be less than 300 if i get the honda civic my payments would be 450 a month so what do ya think?? let me know thanksNissan is a great car. I much prefer the sentra to the civic. They also have one called a versa that is even more reasonably priced.

Fastest and most effective way to sell a car?

-I MUST sell a car in less than a week but I also don't want to loose a lot of money by doing so.

I will try Craigslist (it takes too long) and putting an a sign on the truck and park it on a street with a lot of traffic.

Any other suggestions or ideas?

THANK YOU

I live in CA by the wayThe fastest way to sell your car is to take to a used car dealer. They probably won't give you as much as if you sell it your self but if you get down to the last day you could run it down to a dealer and sell it in about an hour. Some used car dealers will give you a price and let you wait up to a week to actually sell it. You could check out several dealers and see who gives you the best price.
If the car fax is showing all good info then post it on a side window.

Has it been detailed . U can do that, make it look like new. Check the craigslist, & auto trader for price of other similar cars. So u can see if your price is competitive & maybe a bit lower. U can do a search on computer for "For Sale Ads" that way u can advertise with more ads. Make sure a picture is in all of them. Even Walmart has classified ads in your area. So we have Auto Trader, Walmart, Oodle, backpage, & look for more. Advertise as low as u can go because of time frame. If u R competitivly priced then people have to look around. If u R a great deal to begin with then u will have people calling right away. There would be no point in putting u must sell this week. That will only make people u don't want coming. Make sure u deal with cash only & have your title ready to go. When u sell get driver's lic. information.
Take it to a dealer provided they can make a profit maybe they'll give you what you owe on but that means you wont make a dime but at least it'll get you out of the car. in order to sell it on your own that fast your going to have to undersell it, your going to have to make the potential buyer an offer he cant refuse.
craigslist.org is a great way...there's tons of people that search craigslist daily. Also http://buyaprojectcar is taking cars for free listings.

Too many miles on a Honda Civic?

-I'm buying my first car from a car dealership in a nearby town. The car I'm buying is a 2001 Honda Civic Sedan. It costs $2,900, but it has 185,000 miles on it. I know thats a lot of miles but Hondas' are known to last long, and I won't be driving it too much because I'm in high school. I think I will have some room too negotiate on the price, but it is one of the best deals I've found in the months I've been looking on autotrader and other used car websites. Also do you think it has too many miles or do you think it will be ok seeing as I'll only be using it for a few years, and I'm still in high school.

Thanks.185k is allot on any car. I really find that just a stereo type when people say Honda's last forever. There plenty of other cars out there with the same miles. If a car is well maintained it don't matter how many miles it has. And yes I think that's to many miles for the price. You can get some cars with 90k on them for 3grand. Honda or not parts are old and worn. and seals are weak
First, Bill is incorrect. You don't get 90k mile cars for 3 grand. There is some kind of misconception out there about what dealers pay for their cars. They're not all $1,000 and they don't grow on trees.

Auction price for the car you are interested in is about $2,500 assuming it is a clean title. Have it checked out by a mechanic first, but it's a good price.
I would not buy that car. It has way to many miles. 180k miles is about time you get trouble with the clutch, wheel bearing, Electrics.
Wow , your rich
Lol, your used american prices are high?! What's the engine size, and horsepower?

I think our English version would be the Honda Civic Sport with a 1.5 litre engine and around 100hp give or take. With that mileage, age, and some service history, and signs the owner/s weren't mechanical morons, it would sell for under 拢900, so that's $1300 or so? Does your price still seem good value? But we have different car culture to yourselves - eg. we had yearly MOTs (for every car over 3yrs old with rare exceptions) to ensure mechanical safety for decades, plus many people will also get the car serviced once in awhile, change the fluids etc. has yours had this positive treatment, otherwise, I'd be thinking you're paying far too much and keep looking.

As Top Gear confirmed, (at that time) no Honda V-Tec engines have ever failed - none from the 1,000,000 made and in use at that time. Sure the engine may not blow, but electrics haven't improved as much as mechanical reliability has over the decades of motoring, rust issues on the bodywork to consider, etc.
185 kmi isn't too high if it was cared for right. If it was "tuned" or lowered, I'd steer clear as it was probably driven by some boyracer Fast&Furious wannabe boanhedd.

Check out kbb.com and nada.com for used car values. Use the wholesale or trade-in numbers and add maybe $1000 if your dealership is a good one that backs up their product with more than just your state's lemon laws. Just for kicks compare that with the Retail value from those sources.

The Honda product rocks!
Its a risk. That's why its $2900 and not $20,000+.

It would not be unreasonable to expect an expensive motor or transmission repair or any number of lower cost repairs in the next few years.

If you go into it thinking all you have to do is buy gas for the next few years, you may well be disappointed and not prepared for an expensive repair.

I drive a car worth about $1500, it has about 70,000 miles. I face similar risks but my car has FAR fewer miles so I feel better about my chances.

Anybody driving a car worth under $3000 cant reasonably expect it to not need any kind of repairs for years on end.

Ive had mine 5 years and I haven't had anything major.

Where you have a car repaired can make a big difference in what you pay.

Ive had a number of smaller expenses.

I paid $65 total for a used alternator installed. You could pay $200-300 if you take it to honda or firestone.

I paid $89 for brakes. You could pay $150-200 elsewhere.

I changed the anti-freeze out myself for about $35. You'd pay $59-99 elsewhere.

And all those things are minor. The risk is your motor or transmission go out.

That could cost $1200-1800+ to repair or replace.

It happens. Even if you have the car checked out by a mechanic prior to buying it.

It may NOT happen. It doesn't ALWAYS happen. But you need to be prepared for the chance that it could.

It would probably be a good idea to try and find a similar car for sale by a private party. A dealer selling a car for $2900 means it might be a $1500-1600 wholesale piece. And you could buy a similar car for about $2200 from a private party.

-----

If the dealer is willing to sell for $24, a private party might sell it for $16-17.

Its very rare that dealers will negotiate over the phone.

Has YOUR mechanic checked out the car ? How do you know it doesn't have big problems right now ?

What can I do to get a dealership to lower the price of a used car?

-I am looking into purchasing (and financing for 48 - 60 months...I need a car quickly and have no immediate cash to purchase outright) a 1995 Honda Accord EX with 130,000 miles on it. They are asking $3,990 for it and while that is the Kelly Blue Book value I am hoping to get it for less than that.

Is there anything I can do to get the price lower (preferably somewhere about $3,500 - $3,600)?tell them its a 16 year old car a honda an ok car but its a honda with 130,000 miles tell them that you you really like the car the best offer i can make to you right now is $3,300 and they might go down to 3,700 and you go up ha little untill you meet in the middle
say all you have is 2000... stay with that for a while once they come down (and they will probably to 3600) hit them at 2500 and say thats it! they will "crunch some numbers" and then you make a ":final offer" of 2800 and see what they say
about the only thing is to find something wrong with it.

Lightning struck near my car and now it won't start. Any ideas?

-Lightning hit the ground near my car but a large branch also fell on the hood. Now the car won't start. It turns over but does not catch. It also puts out a lot of gas fumes from under the hood when you try to start it. What could be wrong?I would give it to a mechanic or buy a new car

I got a car from a buy here pay here?

-and i had it repoed at one time then my sister needed it and so i had her call the finace company they needed my premision and i sad they could relace it to her but i wanted nothing to do with it not even a phone call if she misses a payment and they did not listen she got my dad to cosign for her to get a new car and left me with the car and i can not affored it or i would not have had it in a repo but she parked it a my parents drive way were i am staying about a week ago i was on vac paid for by my church i get a call from the cosigner that if i dont make the payments he will take me to court but from what ive been told he is just as responsable for the car as me and i coant pay for the car its upside down on the loan as well what do i doNo offense, but delete post and state issue in English. With punctuation and spaces.

Are yellow mustangs considered gay for a guy to drive in?

I'm pretty sure it's straight so long as you don't overly enjoy switching gears or have anything up your bum during the drive.
Yes. in fact, any late model mustang short of a GT500 is gay. but you look like a tool anyway so go for it brah.

Good deal on 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S?

-We're going to look at a Nissan Altima later today for my first car (just got drivers license yesterday :D). It's a 2008 2.5 S black one with 61k mileage and apparently the guy bumped it into another guys car in a parking lot so there is a small dimple/scuff on the back bumper. He's pricing it as $12,500 and it seems like so far he probably won't go any lower except maybe by a few hundred dollars.

SO good price or not?

What do you think it's worth?

Thanks! It really depends on the options. But the price sounds alright. It might be a good deal or just an average one. Again it really depends on the options.

What is the best 4x4 car?

-I am looking to buy a second hand 4x4 but would like to know which type to buy?LOL the guy above said Toyota corolla.

The the dady of all 4x4's is the Jeep Grand Cherokee but the Wrangler and the other models are just as good.

However the best one out here for offloading is the Toyota Land Cruiser.

However if you are worried about driving over leafs on the motorway, get a Toyota Rav4, Mitsubishi ASX, Chevorlet Captiva, Daewoo Musso.
Toyota corolla are great and gas wise good. Good speakers

Is it illegal to sell a car without telling the buyer something's wrong with it?

its amazing but the world has one more turd in it counting you, that cylinder is cheap dummy, get it fixed and move on with your life.sheesh do you work for UPS?
Not illegal, just unethical as far as I'm concerned.

Is this car worth buying ?

-I found a 1996 white mustang for sale for $2200 and really wanna buy it because I absolutely love mustangs and it would be my first car and I'd have to buy it because- my parents won't. I'm not sure if it will hold up though although everything is apparently ok with it right now. It has a 3.8 v-6 engine...any thoughts ?There's not nearly enough information in your question for a good answer. We would need to know the mileage, model (coupe, GT coupe, convertible, etc.), automatic or manual transmission, and so on. Once you have all that information, your first step should be to go to http://www.kbb.com and find out what it says about the value of that car in your area. If you're still interested after that, your next step should be to have a mechanic take a look at it; this may cost you $100 but could save you from making an expensive mistake. Remember this car is 15 years old! Also, it may be a good idea to get a Car Fax on it.

FYI, a coupe with 155,000 miles, an automatic trans, and in GOOD condition in my area is worth about $2,275.i wouldnt get it, a bit risky, also we cant see the car, get a mate who knows his stuff to have a good look over it,
If you have a job, take a loan and pay a amount every month. Try to get a beter deal thou.
Sounds good to me... well, except for the part where you said it had a V6...

Can you transfer your car loan to someone else?

-I am currently paying off a 2001 nissan altima my younger brother is looking for a car and thinks he can take over the payments for the remaining year. However, will having that car under my name effect my chances of getting another car? Or, can I let the finance company know that he will take over now and have them out it under his name, if so does he need to be approved he just turned eighteen and has no credit?Unfortunately, you can't just transfer the loan to your brother. you qualified for the loan based upon your income and credit history. He will need to go through the same process to qualify for financing if he wants the car. It's also a terrible idea to just let him take over the payment unofficially. He would be driving your car with your insurance. If he has a serious accident, the other parties can come after you as owner of the vehicle. Not to mention that if he misses payment, your credit gets trashed, not his.

The best thing to do is just to sell him the car. Let him save up money or have him bring his own financing to the deal. No, banks do not allow transfer of finance loans, although you can do it if it were a lease.

Your name will not be removed until the loan is paid off in full. So it will appear in your credit as an open debt, which would make it difficult to get another loan. But I have had 2 car loans at the same time before.

You can have your brother take over your loan unofficially (shhhhh don't tell the bank). But the loan, insurance, registration will remain in your name.
Of course it's not that easy just to "transfer" your loan to someone else. If that were the case, why wouldn't anyone with sh!tty credit just have their friends finance a car and then.......simply transfer it? Does that make sense to you?

It has to be re-financed...period. End of story. There is no other option.
he wont qualify and you probably wouldn't for another car without paying your current one off.

So no way.

Are bmws, audis, and mercedes expensive to maintain in the United States?

-i'm a college student.. so i'm looking for a used car to buy. is it worth it to buy a european car? and is the maintenance on them expensive in the united states? The older European cars, I mean much older, going back to late eighties through late 90's, were fantastic cars, from a reliability standpoint.

The Consumer Reports state that the more late model European vehicles have patchy reliability...inconsistent patterns, etc. Just look at what happened with Volvo over the years.

For example, one runs great, while the other one runs awful and is always getting serviced. It's a mixed bag with them... but they are built rock solid.

Want reliability...go Japanese. Honda, Toyota. Mazda. Subaru is okay. Even Mitsubishi is decent.

Hell, the Korean cars (Hyundai, Kia) have come a long way and are fairly dependable now.

If you don't make a lot of money, I would avoid a European model.

You're a college student- buy a Camry. Accord or Civic. Honda is as close to perfect as you can get with a car.

Notice I didn't mention any domestics- Chevy, Ford, etc...

What's your opinion on this car?

-For price and mileage?

Please, no suggestions and/or comments about how foreign cars are better. While that may be true, all the typical brands people love throwing out there (Toyota, Honda, etc.) always have 100k mileage or more for the same price.

Thanks.Ooh. I like. I think its pretty, not to mention the style. Its a beautiful car. =3I work at kragens amd I deal with all kind of cars and people car problems I have only seen and know one of them with a customer of mine at the auto parts store. Well with his luck he doesn't like it he has always had problems with his says it is under powered and doesn't handle very well. He said a guy at worked that works with him his wife got one and he told him his does the same thing don't know if that is true but I have herd of two out of two same problems but know one of them for sure is not a very good car I look at it like a Kia it's a throw away car 100k later it is a bucket. Hope this helps from my experience on it. But I'm not talking you out of it just go over it very very well make sure you fine tooth comb it so you don't get screwed. Good luck on a new car purchase hope this help a little.
Yuck. One of the worst vehicles on the road.

I would rather have this -

Low mileage for a 2004 model, Price looks about right. The Chevy Aveo is actually a Korean built Daewoo, and there has been lots of negative press about reliability and quality, but my wife owns a 2007 Aveo hatchback and she loves it. Ours gets about 34 miles per gallon of mostly highway driving with the 5-speed manual trans. It's not a race car, but performance is adequate for an econobox.

Good Luck!
I would definitely buy it. I have a 2005 chevy Aveo LT hatchback with 65k miles and it has been a joy to own it. They are very economical cars and look good to. The maintenance on it is very simple and cheap. And the insurance is very cheap to. For the price it is definitely worth it. Unless you want to spend $3000 more to buy a brand new chevy Aveo.
My friend has one and loves it. The price is good and the mileage is great for the age. I would do it.
well it first needs to be checked drive it around the block and see if you like it
Looks good for what it is

I have a friend that bought a used car?

-The car started acting up before she got out of town. She took it back and they kept it a week. She is a widow and doesn't have a lot of money. She put all she had down on the car. When she got it back she kept it three or four days and had to take it back to the shop. This has happen four other times. He refuses to give her another car or her money back. Now the car is tore up again. Is it illegal to write an editorial to the newspaper about these people. What advise do you give this lady?Editorial is opinion and free speech. It is not illegal as long as what she is saying is true.

If she starts making things up that didn't happen with the intent to defame the dealership, then she could be in trouble for libel.

I hope she learned her lesson to have a mechanic inspect any used vehicle she intends to purchase prior to signing anything.
advice for the lady? Have your next vehicle inspected before you buy it. Unfortunately, it's not against the law to sell someone a piece of junk. It's up to the buyer to know the difference between a good used car and a junker.
she needs to consult a solicitor and trading standards office. if the car was not fit for purpose she is entitled to a full refund.

Upgrading Question? Audi A4 to?

-as of right now i have a 1.8t quattro audi a4 2002 and was thinking about selling my car soon for something better, i am looking at the Audi B6 S4 like mine but 4.2 v8, or a impreza wrx i got a budget of $20,000

What is a good convertible its for my wife birthday?

-hi i looking for ideas for my wife's birthday we are younger couple we have 3 kids ages 2, 6, and 18 we had are first when we were 15 and 16 are oldest has left to go in to the marines. she kind up set about that she wanted him to go to collage because we were not able to. any way she has always put me and are kids before her self. i now own 5 very successfully hot dog stands and it provides a nice life stile.

she has always wanted a nice convertible i an a big gear head hot rods classic and muscle cars. i am a ford guy how ever she not really in to the mustang don't know why i guess ill go for a norther make. only thing i expect the car has to have a V8 and RWD and she hats the Corvette. what would be a go car for a birthday giftIf your wallet can handle it I'd say the Chevrolet Camaro convertible. Not to many of the V8 RWD cars left anymore buddy. I think the main choices are the Mustang, Camaro, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Charger.

If you entertain the idea of tiny little sports cars you have the Pontiac Solstice, and several BMW's
JEEP!

For the haters that voted thumbs down, you can get a nice Jeep Unlimited, with a 6 banger, lift it a few inches and get big mudders and rims, etc. Trick it out!!! Light it up!!! Fun for the whole family!!! That would be MY choice...and I am a girl!!!
Honda S2000. Definitely.
Well if you want a V8 and RWD your options are very limited. Remember you are buying this for a WOMAN not for yourself. If you really want to get her a nice convertible, consider that she doesn't have testosterone. I highly doubt she cares if it has a V8. She just wants something classy, fun and maybe a little zippy. Check out a 2-3 year old Lexus SC430. You may both be able to get what you want... faster than BALLS, V8, RWD and classy.

Really, read that post!
Grab a retarded 6th grader. Tell him you need his help with written communication.
Do you realize that is one long sentence you posted? Come on now.

If I were to post an ad on craigslist for selling a car with no title, would that be legal?

-I had a junk car. I bought a better one a few days ago. I've been driving the junk car illegally with no plates. But, I was wondering if I could sell the car without a title? And if I could, how would I go about doing that? I live in Ohio if that helps. If you own it why don't you go to the title office and file for a lost title. It might be a little more expensive way for you to sell it but your vehicle value will double. You can sell the vehicle as is but it will only get a few hundred dollars for you. I would just take that extra little step go get the title and then sell the vehicle.
You can sell it as long as the buyer understands & knows that you do not have a title and they will never get a title and that you indeed own the car.

It would probably be best to sell it "for parts only".

You wont get much for it.

Is a car salesmen a good job?

-Is it, like a used dealershipIf you like to lie to people...No. It is one of the few jobs that makes you wish you were delivering pizzas. A lot of people look at cars that they know they can't afford and then end up not buying anything at all. Not so with pizza.
at a used car lot probably not but at a franchise i know guys that make 50-80 k a year even right now...
I suppose it can be if you like selling cars and you're good at it.

Where can I buy a new-car-smell car freshener?

-I like the smell of new cars, specifically the smell of the new leathery kind of smell. For instance, I am talking about the smell when you enter a BMW, Mercedes, or Volkswagen car. I'm sure everyone has smelled that before. Please and thank you.I can answer this one. I too appreciate that fragrance and I have a nose like a beagle. I have also researched this before.

First of all, all those "New Car Smell" air fresheners you find at auto parts stores and WalMart, etc,.. garbage. It all smells more like something old people spray on their toes to fight fungus.

There is only one artificial source that I have found that actually smells like a new car and only car dealerships seem to know where to get it.

After buying a 9yr old car from a dealership that smelled brand spankin new I asked a friend who worked at a dealership about it and he told me they have vendors that supply them with this magical elixir. It is not available in stores. What is available in store is garbage.

So you have two choices. Stop at just about any dealership and ask if they will spray your car or sell you some of this exclusive product or replace all the carpeting in your car.
Here's an info page that refers to what you are talking about. I'm not sure if they have specific types of new car smells, but it's worth a shot.

in any car wash, thiers usually a store thier wher u can buy them and other stuff they usually cost only like a dollar

I just bought a brand new car 3 weeks ago, can i ask for my money back?

-it was proven that the car has leaks as my spare tire in the trunk was found submerged in rain water. You would have to let them fix it because you signed the paperwork for this vehicle and until it is proven a lemon or they can't fix it then it is yours. You can ask them to replace the vehicle but it is not likely they will even think about that. The last thing they are going to do is give you your money back. You need to make sure that they give you a free rent a car while it is being fixed as well cause this is their problem. It was proven by who?

You can let them fix it under warranty. If it truly is a brand new car, if they are unable to fix it after a certain # of times (varies by state), then you can file a claim under the state lemon law.

The lemon laws are available through searching on the internet and there should be a section in your owners manual explaining them.

Depends on the companies policy, a lot of places have started doing a thirty day return, but I believe there are some heavy stipulations, besides I can almost guarantee that they will offer you to fix it free of charge before they offer u your money back.
They'll say you left the trunk open during a rain storm.

Used car: Bad credit? No problem! Low down payment?

-This might be my only option. I went to my bank most likely to loan me $5000 and they basically said no unless i have a good co-signer. I have a good one but i dont want to ask for that kind of favor.

I can however make at least a 20% down payment on a 5000 dollar car. Is this a good choice and what interest rate can i expect? My credit score is honestly bad....its 540 with a charge off for several thousand dollars and also a collection agency after me for a few hundred.

What can i do to get the best deal?Sub prime lenders only lend to bad credit borrowers like yourself. As a result, they charge 2-3 & even more times a cars real value plus interest at 19-29%.

$1000 down might get you ....a $1200-1700 car (wholesale) that they charge you $6900 for.

Nicer cars will require more down and of course a much higher sale price.

They will all pretty much SELL you a car with the sufficient down payment but paying for it is the problem.

You would be FAR better off buying a $1000 car for cash. Sure, it might be a piece of crap but you own it and if & when it quits, you don't have to keep paying for 2-3 more years like at a buy here pay here dealer.

I cant stress how bad of an idea they are. Unless you like always having bad credit, having to pay thousands more than a car is worth plus nose bleed rates.

Does F1 Student Visa allow me to get a driver license at Michigan and buy car?

-I'd like to know what should I do in order to get a driver license and then to buy a car.

Also, can I take a car lease or should I pay it in cash?

Thank you in advance.

If you could only have one car for the rest of your life what would it be and why?

-just curious...id havea 1959 dodge charger just because i love the look of them plus i can be like summert off the duked of hazard lolFor the rest of my life HUH!

It need to be reliable

Very Very Very comfortable

Well equipped so it does not feel like an antique 30 yrs later

It has to be either BMW 7 Series Diesel; Mercedes S Class, Rolls Royce Phantom and Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
No one car would do it for me. I like to go fast and have great handling, other times I need to haul stuff or people, and other times I need to go off road, one car will not do everything to my liking.
2011 Dodge Durango Citadel with the 5.7L HEMI V8. I'm sold.
Acura NSX.
Ran rover I like its giant

Here i am told to u some important point of Hyundai Verna car. So i am suggest to u go with this car.

And more information of Hyundai Verna car than U visit on below url:-
Automatic is good for city cruising, but def not good if you are passionate about driving. Manual is the best bet. Further more please do not expect great mileage, all auto trans cars are poor in mileage its just advertising gimmicks that they say it offers great mileage and further more bad in resale. I would suggest that you go for a manual transmission Verna. Take a test drive and get the hang of it. Make sense

Happy motoring
yah, surely it is a good decision,I do agree with you how in the US this is marketed as a low end car and here in India its marketed as a near luxury segment car. But that same can go for the Civic / Corolla as well... you know what I mean.

Traded for a bad car?

-about 6 months ago me and my fiance traded in an 05 F-350 ($500 a month) for a 09 chevy cobalt ($200 a month) the carfax report had nothin worng with it, and still under warranty, anyways it turns out that it was wrecked and whole new engine and all that was replaced so it was deemed to be too much to fix, we were still in the deal though so we had a choice in 3 other vehicles but somehow all 3 vehicles were more expensive so we chose an 09 honda civic($354 a month) is there something we can do, or did we just wait to long? We couldn't get the F-350 back because had already been soldlol all those cars you are talking about are bummy cars with plastic seats that look like leather... if you want a car that will last forever and has a really nice interior get a "LEXUS IS" both you and your wife are going to love it its smooth and sporty.

What is the best car from following?

-what is the best car from following by considering reliability, durability, stability ???

Lancer CK2

Civic EG8 VTEC

Corolla AE100

Nisaan FB14Depends on the condition of each vehicle. None of which you provided.

And why did you mention the chassis codes?

Totally pointless.

It's like asking, which is better:

A man, 6'1", with normal bone structure.

A woman, 5'6", with normal bone structure.

But good job on pointing out the skeletons of the cars....I guess?
Corolla without a doubt... easily survives 20-30 years

They're all okay cars but corolla is the best
Civic . . .!

Car hire for short term (for three months or more)?

-Hi, I have a faulty used car which I need to sell off (has major engine fault and costs a lot to fix) and need a car just for short term (from three months upto six months, after that I am moving abroad). I googled for car lease, but seems to be very expensive. if you are aware of any cheaper deals (or any other alternatives), please let me know. buying and selling will be too much hassle for me for just few months and also will the insurance be provided for short term lease? can I transfer my current insurance to leased car? my current insurance expires in January and I made the full payment already.Just buy a cheap car (under 拢1000) and the week before you leave the country stick it into a car auction or on Ebay.

Trying to hire one for that period would be prohibitively expensive.

What's a good fast sports car about 13k?

-I'm wanting to get my first car, and I need it around 13000. I like the new mustang gts, and challengers. Need something with a V-8 engine. Any ideas?Buy used.
get a pontiac GTO... you will not be dissapointed

Has anybody used their own car/van for advertising for another company, whilst being paid for it?

-There're companies who pay you to advertise on your vehicle. They vinyl wrap your car/van in their advertisement and you get paid monthly. I would like people's experience of using such companies? Also was the advertisement easy to peel off when it came to selling the vehicle.

Thanks

What car would suit me best?

-I would like to spend $10,000 or under. I was thinking either a 2005 cadillac cts with 120k km or less OR a 2002-2004 BMW 325i with under 130k km or less OR a 2003-2004 nissan 350z around 140k km or less.. what do you think would be ideal for city driving? or do you have any other suggestions? i would like a sporty/classy car to be over 2002 and under $10k and with atleast decent gas mileage, please help me out here i can't make up my mind.if its ur first car dont get any of those

1 insurance,,any will shock you,,all are high accident and theft rates...oif your under 26 yrs old not married man o man

2 any car with 130K plus miles is gona be in the shop ,,,a lot,,and they all cost more than a civic to repair

3 compromise to a altima,,,civic,,scionThe best car is the one you already own. After that, the best car is the one that is safe, dependable and gets you from point A to point B. No matter how much you spend or how cool you think the car is, after a couple of months its just a car.

Prices vary across the country. If I would have known what a used car sells for in South Carolina compared to southern California, I would have towed my car to Carolina and sold it for twice as much.

You'll usually pay less when buying directly from the seller as opposed to buying from a dealership. There are advantages (price) as well as disadvantages (no recourse, no warranty, no financing). My suggestion is to research the specific cars you are considering, at least insofar as what things tend to go wrong and when. Research what to look for/what to ask when buying a used car. Look at the history of the make(s) and model(s) you are considering. Some years are better than others.

Not knowing you personally makes it difficult as to which would suit you best, but I would give the same advice to anyone.
I'M NOT TOO SURE ANY OF THE ABOVE ARE GOOD FOR CITY DRIVING, HOWEVER YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A NICE EXAMPLE OF EITHER FOR UNDER 10K.

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED MERCEDES-BENZ OR ALFA ROMEO?
Eh those brands are expensive.

I'd just buy some kind of toyota

When the Ford Fiesta will launch in india?

-Ford India will launch the all new Ford Fiesta 2011 in the Indian auto market on July 14th, 2011.

Get more details on below links :

http://www.carkhabri.com/carmodels/ford/鈥?/a>

http://www.india.ford.com/servlet/Satell鈥?/a>hi,

You r knowledge about the When the Ford Fiesta will launch in india so i am told to u in this Question.

The Ford Fiesta is launch in India Expected in 14th July 2011.

And i am tell u about some thing:-

The Ford Fiesta has been around for a while and now it seems have been ageing rapidly as many new competitors are coming with more frills than that are offered on the Fiesta. Ford had introduced the sports version of the Fiesta which is the 1.6S. The 1.6S has undergone changes in its underpinning settings for better handling and of course some other cosmetic changes.

The new Fiesta鈥檚 design has the Ford鈥檚 new Kinetic Design theme and can be expected in India by the end of 2011. The new Fiesta will come with an option of POWERSHIFT transmission later on(this is a dual-clutch automatic transmission) which is just like the Volkswagen鈥檚 DSG. With most of its competition 鈥?Honda City and the Volkswagen Vento, the POWERSHIFT Fiesta could cause some issues.

After the success of the Ford Figo, Ford will now be aiming to makes it hold firm by launching the new Fiesta in this segment.

Here i am told to for Ford Fiesta cars.

When u r more information Ford Fiesta cars than u r visit of this url:-
New Ford Fiesta launched with prices on 14th July. Its got features like voicecontrol , cruze control , the outer shape is very good but the prices are up by atleast a lakh rupees compared to competition.
14 July 2011 means tomorrow.

-looking at a second hand scenic 1998 full history 156k on clockRenault invented the diesel engine so they are good.

Now I dont know what good means maybe fast not the case with a scenic. Reliable, yes the engine is reliable the rest of the car is not.

Renault build cheap cars with cheap interiors out of plastics and cheap parts.

The words 1998 renault scenic should not even be in the same paragraph as the words good car.

Its 13yrs old, a lot of thing can be wrong with it. It has a lot of miles so a lot of the parts on the car will need care.

However if you pay 500GBP for something that will move once in a while, why not buy a Honda.

Dont expect a lot of safety features either, those were introduce later on and Renault has built a reputation for that.

Each car serves a purpose is the renault Scenic a good track car? NO. Is it a good family car? Could be if it still runs?
Go for the equivalent Volkswagen, they are far more robust and the technology used in the diesel engine is further advanced than Renault, also a Volkswagen will hold its price far more than a Renault. Good luck with your car shopping - Gizz.
Yeah in renault diesel and petrol both are good and fantastic but the drawback is they are expensive.
no better or worse than other makes but spares can be a bit pricey.

TYPE OF ENGINE I HAVE?

-its 5.5hp, electric ignition, its a beast of a engine, it has a big W w/ wen under it. how do i find the type and the valueIts a lawnmower engine. Practically worthless. You might get a couple bucks for it at a pawn shop or something.

Buy and sell in 3yrs, or lease now?

-We're pregnant with #3 now and our car is dying. We expect to have at least 4 kids so will need a minivan eventually but not before 3 years is up. We just can't afford or need a minivan now.

I know there are many factors, but just based on what I'm telling you, do you think I'd end up financially ahead if we lease a car for 3 years (and maybe go over miles), or buy used or new and sell/trade-in in 3yrs?You can't afford a minivan, but you can are going to keep on popping out kids that you have to pay for 18 years +?

That's doesn't come across as a very smart statement.

Leasing will never put you financially ahead. If you need a minivan for 10 years, you buy the best one you can now and keep/maintain it.

That choice should be the Honda Odyssey.

EDIT - Hmmm...nowhere did I criticize your choice in family size. My statement was based on your own words, which said you can't afford a minivan right now, but want to keep having kids.

Your family can be your priority all you want, and I respect that. What I don't get is people having children they admittantly cannot financially afford. And by your own words (not mine), you can't afford a van right now. I just found it odd that you can keep having kids with no money. That's all.
My aunt and uncle had three kids. They bought their minivan new back in the 90's and have been trading in every 3 years since then. I think that might be the best option for you.

That way you don't have to worry about a lot of problems (going over miles with road trips, lots of wear and tear, etc.) and should you and your kids get sick of the family van after a while, you can trade it and get a brand new model. It seems to have worked for them; they're still driving the same brand to this day. Just traded in for a 2011 a few months ago.

Congratulations on your new baby and good luck!

What Type Of Vehicle Is Best?

-I'm an 18 year old female looking to buy a vehicle for school and work, and am not quite sure exactly what to look for. I don't want something expensive, but I also don't want something too cheap where it'll most likely break down. I would prefer a pick-up truck or even a car, but I'm not sure what is best on gas, price and even insurance.....any recommendations? The Japanese trucks are usually a little more reliable and 2 wheel drive is cheaper to insure. The most reliable are also the most expensive. Honda Toyota Isuzu and Subaru are all very reliable just be careful the Isuzu Hombre pickups are really Chevrolets with some minor changes to the sheet metal the same goes for the Mitsubishi Raider which is really a Dodge Dakota and the Mazda is really a Ford Ranger.I have a Subaru impreza turbo. Really fast and has never broke down or had any problems.
Tank. You don't need insurance.

Texas car title transfer?

-I just bought a used car from a private seller and am going about getting the title in my name. I have the copy provided from the seller with his signature on it. My problem is, I just found out I have an existing traffic ticket gone to warrant. My question is, will the Texas Title Division run my name for warrants?

As this is my only means of transportation to and from work, I have to take care of this first.

My car is up for repossession! What can i do?

-My last job was outsourced and I was laid off. I just started my new job.

Meanwhile, all of my bills have gotten behind.

My car note is 60 days behind and I need 10 more days until I can make a payment to catch it back up.

I've talked to the finance company... They told me I had to pay TODAY and that my car is up for repossession.

I can't let the car go, because I've already put so much into and then I really won't be able to afford to get it back, but I'm nervous, because I've never been through this and I don't know what'll happen if I just try to hide it for the next 10 days until I can pay.

Any advice, besides giving it back? You need to come up with the money today. Borrow from a friend or family member. Because in 10 days they may not accept the payments and repo it and / or may call the whole balance of the loan in. Its there call.................&&&................鈥?you let them repo it anyway they w ill sue you for the balance on the loan after they dispose of the car. Giving it back doesn't relieve you of the debt.................&&&
Unfortunate for you that "so much into it" wasn't in regards to payments but probably junk like 24" wheels and fake fender portholes and not getting that title in your hands, but I wouldn't be hiding THEIR car...
I really feel for you, this is a tough spot to be in. The other poster is correct, when you financed your car the finance co. likely has the option to "call the loan" which essentially means you must pay the balance in full right then and there.

How is your credit? I assume its taken a ding because of the layoff. If at all possible try to refinance the vehicle with lower payments, be upfront about your situation. Try to get a loan even if its a PAYDAY loan (which are awful), sell personal items immediately, somehow do everything in your power to get $ today. Even if you do hide it, they can and likely will call the loan. If you can't come up with the $ then start trying to refinance, because eventually they'll get it and you won't get it back unless you pay the full balance.

I really hope that you make it through this, I know its hard out there right now. But like all other pains and trouble in life, this too will pass.
Hide the car until you get 100% caught up on your payments plus interest & late fees and someone at the finance company confirms to you that they have pulled the repo order. Id even ask for something in writing by fax just in case a repo man shows up.

Otherwise, if could get repoed and you will owe the repo fee & storage no matter if you are now caught up.

They MAY not have actually put it up for repo. They often SAY that to create urgency. But you cant assume they haven't either.

repo men can be very resourceful so its not as easy as parking it at your moms or a reference. They may look there for it.

However, if its in a LOCKED GARAGE it will not be repoed...legally anyway.

PS, if you hide the car permanently, it could be a crime so don't do this for more than a week or two.

PS 2. Call them back & tell them exactly when & exactly how you will pay then. Even offer to give them a postdated check. See what they say.

If they still say they are going to repo it, offer to drop it off where ever they want it.

But that you can & will pay in 10 days.

See what they say.

Dont actually return it, you are calling their bluff to see how they react.
