If I were to post an ad on craigslist for selling a car with no title, would that be legal?

-I had a junk car. I bought a better one a few days ago. I've been driving the junk car illegally with no plates. But, I was wondering if I could sell the car without a title? And if I could, how would I go about doing that? I live in Ohio if that helps.If you own it why don't you go to the title office and file for a lost title. It might be a little more expensive way for you to sell it but your vehicle value will double. You can sell the vehicle as is but it will only get a few hundred dollars for you. I would just take that extra little step go get the title and then sell the vehicle.
You can sell it as long as the buyer understands & knows that you do not have a title and they will never get a title and that you indeed own the car.



It would probably be best to sell it "for parts only".



You wont get much for it.
