The Ford Fiesta has been around for a while and now it seems have been ageing rapidly as many new competitors are coming with more frills than that are offered on the Fiesta. Ford had introduced the sports version of the Fiesta which is the 1.6S. The 1.6S has undergone changes in its underpinning settings for better handling and of course some other cosmetic changes.



The new Fiesta鈥檚 design has the Ford鈥檚 new Kinetic Design theme and can be expected in India by the end of 2011. The new Fiesta will come with an option of POWERSHIFT transmission later on(this is a dual-clutch automatic transmission) which is just like the Volkswagen鈥檚 DSG. With most of its competition 鈥?Honda City and the Volkswagen Vento, the POWERSHIFT Fiesta could cause some issues.



After the success of the Ford Figo, Ford will now be aiming to makes it hold firm by launching the new Fiesta in this segment.
