-So I really like cars and it would be amazing to have my own car. But they're not cheap, at least good ones anyway. I'd be looking at $3000 the cheapest, and going up from there. I don't have $3000 yet, but I'm thinking that I shouldn't buy my own one anytime soon. See, being under 18 = high insurance rates. And I want something nice, so that means even higher insurance rates. I have college ahead of me, and a ton of other things I could buy...clothes, books, a bicycle, etc...and sure there are loans and grants and scholarships, but I don't KNOW that I'll get those. Somethng I found out to my disappointment was that universities don't allow Freshman (and sometimes even Sophomores) to have college parking. So its like, if I bought a car now, i'd have to leave it at home after high school until I was eligible for parking. I plan to go out of state anyway, so that'd be a hassle to ship the car to the state of my university. I do have my mom's car to drive for now though. And maybe with a bike, that, and busses, I'll be okay! Another advantage is that if I saved up until I was older for a car, A. I'd pay less insurance given that i'd be older & more experienced. And B. I could get a much nicer car by then. I see teens who have their own cars so idk how they do it with school and stuff. Maybe they're more fortunate than me and have parents that can pay for it. I don't, but at least that'll build responsibility if I paid for my stuff :-) so guys, let me know! To wait, or not to wait? That is the question.
Thank you for your time! =DJst wait, ur r smart.GET CARS AND MONEY
