-I'm trying to convince my dad into buying me a car. I'm starting off real cheap. Anyways I was on the Internet and I saw a 1996 Honda Accord LX light blue that had 133,423 miles. The price was 3,495. I saw the pictures and the car was really clean and the paint was good too. The engine looked fine for is age just a little dirty. Is this a good deal or should I avoid this car. I was told Hondas and Toyotas last forever by the way.Its listed about $900 below retail book value, so it seems very reasonably priced. I 'd still have a mechanic check it over just to make sure you aren't purchasing a problem vehicle, but you're right in thinking that the car has a good reliable history. It sounds like a good value, and it's a car I would consider buying myself.i mean it's a little old, and high mileage but right now you aren't gonna get anything cheaper, i tried to find a good civic and it's nearly impossible. For that price you can't beat it
sounds good to me, check the kelly blue book value to make sure you aren't getting cheated on the price
have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy
