Is a Hyundai Sonata a good car?

-I'm looking into buying a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and I just wanted a little feedback...Every review I've read says it's a great car. Hyundai has come a long way since the original Excel back in 1986, which sold for $4995. They have the best warranty in the industry and even added a trade in guaranteed value to address their weak resale values.

But with their popularity comes 1 glaring negative.... they don't come with huge discounts as previously. So it's not unusual to pay more for a Sonata than the Accord or Camry. Never thought that would ever happen!
130k miles on my 2002 sonata and its more reliable then my friends camry. Only thing ive ever done to it (besides routine maintenance) is replace the Crank position sensor. And trust me, i drive this car hard. But i'm trading it i for possibly the most unreliable car on earth. 2001.5 Audi s4
not really, i would go with american cars...if you want a car that has a better resale value, more dependable, cheaper, and still looks good, i would buy a 2009 chevrolet cobalt. its just a little bit older, but heres the thing- you know the chevrolet nova? no one, not a SINGLE PERSON thought that the nova would ever be worth anything. well now they are major collector cars. i have a feeling thats whats going to happen to the cobalt. so if i were you, i would get a cobalt SS and keep it for a long time...in 20 years, it will be worth $60K-$70K. i can almost guarentee it. you know, with the quad tail lights? yes. get that car instead. its more than the hyundai will wver be.
The Sonata is one of the best cars in it's class. The Corolla is about two generations behind. You may want to look at the new Elantra as well since it's basically a baby Sonata and saves even more gas.
I personally wouldn't buy a hyundai, they aren't the most reliable cars around...
