Which car should we get?

-My mom is going to lease a new car, and we have narrowed it down to the 2011 Volkswagen Jetta TDI and the Mini Cooper Clubman. They are very close in price, and we like them both. We are upgrading from an '07 Civic Si.



They both have moonroofs, leatherette seats, free maintenance for 3 years, and drive well.

The Mini has auto ac and is quirky looking (which we like)

The VW is german, and has a touch screen radio. It also saves about 100$ more on gas than the mini.

I'm normally good at this stuff, but I just can't decide between the 2, they're both so good...

Which one should we get?Hands down the tdi. I'm looking at getting one. There nice. Almost luxury nice for half.the cost. They (like you said) get better mileage and because there diesel will last for a longer time than a gasoline engine. And of course you can't beat German engineering. Or the fact that it buys itself in the long haul.The TDI is a much better option. The Mini is very ugly. I have personal experience with a VW (a Phaeton to be exact) and the service center for VW's cannot be possibly beat! They are so friendly and get your car repaired very quickly! The TDI is a way better option!
The Mini has got to be the ugliest car on the road. TDI is also more fin to drive. Go for the TDI!

If you are going to return it in 3 years get the VW. Very nice cars but wouldn't want one long term.
