Do you think parents should buy their kids cars?

-ok im 15 about to turn 16 in march. a few months ago when i was looking for a car my dad said he would buy me a brand new chevy camaro ss. yes he actually said he would buy me one for my first car. then a couple months later he got a girlfriend.... i could no longer get that anymore so i was going to split the price in half with him for about a $25,000 car... he was okay with that.... then a couple more months go by and he just keeps blowing money on his girlfriend and he wanted me to spend less..... so i thought maybe we could split the price of a used 2008 honda civic coupe..... he was okay with that..... well now he doesnt want anything to do with me getting a car... i dont have money.. my parents work all the time so i cant get a ride to a job to get money for a car and hes pretty much screwed me over.... do you think this is fair?I think it's crummy if your dad broke his word. Tell your dad that you are feeling cheated here since he said was going to buy you the camaro. Not much you can do if he doesn't agree to put up the money. I hope he will. Good luck!
This does seem harsh. To answer your question, I don't think the car should be a new car, it's pretty pointless.
Um no it's not fair, you should talk to your dad.
